This is to notify you on Education Info that Melbourne Institute of Technology is offering International Excellence Scholarship 2017/2018 Australia.

Melbourne Institute of Technology is a tertiary educational Institution in Australia, which was established in 1990s with the range of academic programs in Business, Accounting, Management, Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Networking, and Telecommunications Engineering, extending from undergraduate (university to Diploma and Bachelor), through to postgraduate degrees, designed to sponsor students pursuing their Postgraduate and Undergraduate Studies in the University.

The Scholarship is one of the MIT's passions to build a conducive environment where students from around the world can be inspired and accomplished excellence.

These scholarships provide you partial funding. The eligibility criteria and application procedures for each scholarship vary depending on the type of scholarship that you wish to apply.

 Scholarship Worth

• Successful applicants awarded a scholarship will receive a deduction from a program of trimester; March or July (November trimester if not eligible).
• This scholarship is not transferable to another Institute's campus.

Eligible Undergraduate applicant

The MIT IE Scholarships are awarded to undergraduate applicants who have:

• Enrolled as a full-time student of the trimester student for the the benefit of applies. The November or summer trimester is not covered by scholarship;
• Completed Australian Year 12 70% or more, with no individual result 65% (not exceptions will be considered);
• IELTS (academic) result with an overall score of 7.0 with no band less than 6.5. Documentary evidence of a current (IELTS certification must accompany the application;
• Student submission - Each application must be accompanied by a 500-800 words essay outlining why receipt of the scholarship is important; And
• Not be sponsored by organizations or government and have;
• Submitted a complete MIT International Excellence Scholarship Form at the time of application for offer of place at MIT

Eligible Postgraduate applicant

The MIT IE Scholarships are awarded to post graduate applicants who have:

• Enrolled as a full-time student of the trimester student for the the benefit of applies. The November or summer trimester is not covered by scholarship;
• Completed as a minimum Australian equivalent (NOOSR guide) with overall grade average of 70% or more, with no individual result below (no exceptions will be considered)
• IELTS (academic) result with an overall score of 7.0 with no band less than 6.5. Documentary evidence of a current (IELTS certification must accompany the application;
• Student submission - Each application must be accompanied by a 500-800 words essay outlining why receipt of the scholarship is important; And
• Not be sponsored by organizations or government and have
• Submitted a complete MIT International Excellence Scholarship Form at the time of an application for offer of place at MIT

Application Deadline

Applications for the continuation (retention of Scholarship) must be lodged by 4.30pm on the Friday of the week immediately before the classes start in the subsequent trimester.
