ACCA bands together Base University to give proficient foundation to A/C graduates - MaEduInfo.


The Association of Certified Chartered Accountants, professional body, bands together Baze University, an Abuja-based private university, to provide proficient foundation for growing accounting graduates in the African sub-region.

The partnership between Association of Certified Chartered Accountants, and BAZE University, begun in their mission to grow the number of finance and accounting professionals in the African sub-region.

The partnership will seek to provide learning support to the Baze University students and academics; integrate and embed ACCA curriculum into the university curriculum; accredit the university's accounting department, and collaborate to enhance the curriculum.

The accounting body highlighted some of the terms of the agreement as: provision of learning support to the Baze University students and academics; integration and embedding of ACCA curriculum into Baze University curriculum; accreditation of Baze University Accounting department and collaborating to enhance the curriculum.

It tells the partnership that ACCA's ACCA tuition and fast-track the students' journey with the ACCA. The statement described ACCA as an institution with over a century in experience of developing globally relevant finance professionals through innovative learning delivery.

For ACCA, a global accounting professional body in the United Kingdom with 101 offices in 52 countries worldwide, including Nigeria, it is more than a century experience in developing globally relevant finance professionals through innovative learning, is an added boost to the plan.
