Position: Graduate Trainee (Mechanical Engineer)
Location: Lekki, Lagos.

Job Summary

  • As a Graduate Mechanical engineer, you will oversee static and piping engineering developments during the detailed design, construction and commissioning phases of projects.
  • Review, HAZOP, PDMS Model Reviews, Mechanical Handling Study etc.) and ensure timely close out of all review action items related to mechanical engineering.
  • Perform visits to project construction sites during design, construction and commissioning phases to provide support.
  • Pipe erection along with pipe support fabrication and erection. Etc.
Requirements:
  • Mechanical / Chemical / Petroleum Engineering Degree
  • Experience in Oil & Gas / Temperature / Steam Industry.
  • The candidate should be able to work on technical details, have static / piping engineering knowledge in Oil & Gas field.
  • Have FEED and DD engineering experiences in addition to construction engineering
  • Inspection and maintenance experience in static / piping / valves will be highly favored.
  • Conversing with international international codes, Group procedures and standards.
  • Familiar with any or more of AutoCad, PDMS, CAESER II, AutoPipe etc.
  • Conversing with international standards such as ASME, API, NFPA, BS etc. as applied to mechanical and piping engineering.
  • Must be able to interpret process and instrumentation drawings.
  • Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills.

Job Summary:

  • The incumbent will be required to prepare electrical designs and perform calculations for conceptual / feasibility report, design design design, and construction / contractor support as well as perform design of medium and low voltage power supply and installations.

Requirements 
The Electrical engineer will lead electric focus projects. Typical design tasks to include:
• Industrial facility power distribution
• Motor control and coordination with instrumentation / control technicians
• Lighting, grounding, and lightning protection
• Fire alarm and general facility electric system design
• Advance Programmable Logic Controllers (Any of Siemens, Allen Bradley, ABB, Omron)
• Distributed Control System will be added advantage
• Industrial Motor Controls
• Pneumatic / Electro-Pneumatic will be added advantage
• SCADA / HMI (Any of WinCC, WonderWare, FactoryTalkView, RSView32, PanelView32, ABB etc.)
• Perform power system studies on industrial and utility systems, including grounding, lightning protection, short circuit, coordination, and arc flash hazard analysis.
• Visits job sites to coordinate activities of installation and personal construction.

Job Specification:
• B.Sc. Electrical Engineering with relevant experience (3yrs min.)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate, both in written and verbal form, technical material to non-technical people; including group presentations to clients
• Strong computer skills including both Microsoft Office programs and AutoCAD programs
• Hands on experience with electrical and instrumentation technical softwares such as ETAP, AutoCAd Electrical etc
• Versatility in Internationally recognized standards and Codes for electrical installations such as NEC, NFPA, IEC etc
• Exposure to explosion proof installations.
